It was May 2000, that we re-formed our Association and since that date we have about 90 members, including several Battle of Britain Aces, ex Commanding Officers, Pilots,
Navigators, Airframes, Engines, Radar, Instruments, Armourers etc.
It has been an aim in our Squadron Association, that we should follow the ideals of the Royal Air Forces Association in that, we are all equal and this has proved to be very successful and made our association that much stronger. Obviously, as we get older, our numbers inevitably decrease but we feel that with our quarterly newsletter, keeps people in touch with each other whilst providing interesting articles from our members experiences. We are able to show photos of past `glories' together with anecdotes and, we hope, a bit of humour.all of which helps keeps alive the comradeship that we came to accept as the norm whilst we served on the Best Squadron in the RAF. If you are interested in joining our illustrious band, then please turn to the contact list on this website and either email, phone or write.
